I am a dedicated and hardworking activist who has worked on political and NGO campaigns, with special emphasis on growing grassroots networks, training people to improve their communities and formulating strategies to achieve progressive change. I currently work for a highly influential charity, working on bringing communities together, tackling loneliness and social isolation, respecting diveristy and protection of people in public life.
I have a background in political organising and grassroots organising. From 2015 to 2017 I managed Oxford Labour’s campaigns, overseeing efforts that saw over half of all voters in Oxford vote Remain in the EU Referendum, gain council seats in successive local elections and a historic general election performance in 2017. Despite the largest progressive alliance effort Labour maintained their vote share in Oxford West & Abingdon and in Oxford East Anneliese Dodds was elected with the largest Labour majority in history.
I was borough agent and organiser for Camden Labour’s record election win in May 2018. I worked with Labour councillors and candidates to oversee a challenging campaign in difficult national circumstances, winning 43 out of 54 seats despite Labour underperforming in nearby boroughs.
